Mission to Seafarers Art Competition - Now Calling for Entries

Seafarers are the salt of the earth, responsible for over 90% of goods that are transported throughout the world. Without them, society as we know it, would not exist.

The Mission to Seafarers provides support to visiting seafarers all around the world, but it is largely unknown.

Internationally the 25th June is set aside as the Day of the Seafarer.

This annual art competition, supported by the Burnie Coastal Art Group, is to help foster the awareness of seafarers in our community and provide a platform for local artists.

The theme this year is 'Beyond the Horizon.'
